Painting this reminded my of this pet we had when I was little. My sister brought home an abandoned baby bird. My Mom ended up raising it and we called him Poopy-Doo. She would let it fly around outside and when she would whistle he came back. One day he didn't. . . and I hope he found a little love bird and didn't get eaten by a cat or something.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
